Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) of the Philippines.
1. Information We Collect
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, mobile number,
home address, and a government-issued identification document. If you place orders
or request services, we additionally collect transaction details, delivery addresses,
and payment-related information necessary to process your request.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to: (a) verify your identity and create your account;
(b) process your orders and service bookings; (c) communicate with you about
your transactions, account, or platform updates; (d) match you with solar vendors
near your location; and (e) comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Government ID Use
Your uploaded government ID is used solely for identity verification purposes.
It is encrypted at rest, accessible only to authorised platform administrators,
and is never shared with vendors or any external party without your explicit consent.
Verified accounts have their ID document stored for the lifetime of the account
in accordance with applicable regulations.
4. Information Sharing
We share only the information necessary to fulfil your requests with the vendors
you transact with (e.g. delivery address, contact number for order fulfilment).
We may also share data with service providers who assist us in operating the
platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements. Any disclosure required
by law, court order, or government authority will be made in compliance with
RA 10173.
5. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active and for
a reasonable period thereafter as required by law. You may request deletion of
your account and associated data by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO),
subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Your Rights
Under RA 10173 you have the right to: (a) be informed of how your data is used;
(b) access your personal data held by us; (c) correct inaccurate data;
(d) object to processing in certain circumstances; (e) data portability;
and (f) lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you
believe your rights have been violated.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect
your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. This includes
encrypted storage, secure HTTPS connections, and role-based access controls.
However, no system is completely immune to security risks; we encourage you
to keep your account credentials confidential.
8. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and provide platform
functionality. We may use analytics tools to understand how the platform is
used in order to improve the service. You may manage cookie preferences
through your browser settings.
9. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this agreement periodically. Material changes will be communicated
via email and/or a notice within the platform. Continued use of the platform after
the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
